A VoIP SDK for Android phones.
ABTO Software VoIP SIP SDK for Android allows you to build a custom SIP softphone for Android 2.3.x, 4.x, 5 that can support voice and video calls. Versions of the software is available in Windows, Mac OS and Linux environments. Development environments you could use include Eclipse and Android Studio. Android 2.3.x, 4.x, 5 and SIP and RTP are supported. The tool supports UDP/TCP and secure connection via SRTP and ZRTP. The development kit is compatible with STUN and other IETF standards (compatible with SER, OpenSER and Asterisk). The development system supports ICE, SIP Registrar (SIP server) support, Audio and video calls. The calling signaling is completely compatible with DTMF. Single line is supported. Status messages, user agent name, SIP port change, SIP port check, etc. are supported. Bluetooth, second registration, different network (Wi-Fi, GPRS, 3G, EDGE), registration proxy are supported. Log management is supported.
The kit will let you develop apps that supports a range of codecs including G.711- ALaw, G.711-muLaw, G.729, Speex, Theora, GSM, H.263, H.263+, H.264, etc. Whole set of end user features include setting a custom ringtone, using the softphone with no registration (useful for calls in local network), communicating via IM, etc. The software also lets you check Call history, store and use Contacts list, play file to conversation, etc. are available in addition. Recording a call, sending a DTMF (useful for calls to call center) call, enable/disable Video, microphone and speaker during the call etc. also are available. This is a very good tool.
